In 2023, we visited tea plantations and producers throughout Kagoshima to produce our original Kagoshima fresh tea! I've been spending more and more time in Kagoshima, so I'm really grateful to my friends who protect the store.

This year too, I was able to tour the fields on both the Satsuma Peninsula side and the Osumi Peninsula side, and I was able to do an Instagram live with Mr. Nagayama Seicha in Ei, Chiran, Kagoshima. I'm talking to other producers, but the producers are really busy during the new tea season, so it was a miraculous event that I was able to meet Mr. Nagayama and do an Instagram live. bottom. By the way, this year, the cherry blossoms bloomed early and there were many warm days, so the Kagoshima fresh tea grew quickly, so I purchased it in a way that matched it.

Every day, I repeat the tasting of the fresh tea coming in. Even within the same producer, the location of the field where the tea leaves are picked, the growing conditions of the tea leaves, and the environment of the tea factory where the tea is processed are all different every day. Especially this year, the growth was early, and it rained on the 8th and 9th, so it may have been a difficult year for producers to produce tea leaves.

In such an environment, my role is to procure Kagoshima fresh tea that our customers will be pleased with and to manufacture it in our own style.
