In 2017, just like the late blooming of cherry blossoms, the growth of tea was delayed by about a week compared to the average year.
Sakurajima rarely erupted, the mornings and evenings were cool, and the weather continued throughout the day, so it was a year in which there were many gentle and refreshing Kagoshima new teas. I was able to secure the tea leaves for!
(To be honest, the production volume of our "Gyokuro-zukuri Saemidori" will be very small. We may cause inconvenience to our customers, but we will manufacture with quality first, so please understand and cooperate. Thank you very much.)
This year, I had the opportunity to talk directly with the producers while working in the fields. I was able to see it clearly both visually and in the market.
The quality of tea really varies from year to year depending on the weather conditions, and it is difficult to find differences between fields and producers. (Bitter~)
In particular, the amount is small even among the "Saemidori variety" Kagoshima fresh tea, and even less if it is our company's preference.
The amount of valuable tea itself is limited, so it is very difficult to secure it.
